Ductless Heating and Cooling Systems: Savings and Comfort

Historically ductless heating and cooling systems, sometimes known as mini-split systems have accounted for only about 10 percent of the residential market; however that’s changing and fast with growing concerns about climate change and rising energy costs.

When you look at the benefits of dustless heating and cooling systems it’s easy to see why so many Idahoans’ are taking a serious look at this rapidly growing technology.

Awesome Energy Efficiency

Most homeowners don’t realize it but the typical forced air system can lose as much as 20 percent of its’ energy in the heat ducts and that adds up to a lot of wasted energy and costs. Ductless systems avoid all that because there are no ducts and the super efficient Inverter-Compressor technology used in the Mitsubishi Electric Ductless heating and cooling systems we offer ramp up and down to maintain comfort and reduce energy consumption by much as 40 percent.

You also save energy because you’re not trying to keep your whole house at the same temperature. Ductless systems allow you to create zones and completely control temperature room by room so there’s far less wasted energy. In addition, many of our Mitsubishi Ductless Systems are Energy Star Rated and super thrifty with their energy consumption even under a full load and extreme weather conditions.

Options. Options and More Options

One of the most significant benefits of dustless heating and cooling is flexibility. They are can be used to provide heating and cooling to new additions such as bedrooms, bonus rooms or work spaces like garages or shops where no ductwork exists or can feasibly to delivered. They can also replace existing baseboard heating, space heaters or window air conditioning units; all of which are extremely inefficient and expensive to run.

Mitsubishi also offers high efficiency ductless systems capable of comfortably handling an entire home and there has been a lot of design innovation to offer a wide variety of wall, ceiling, and floor installation options.
